Christmas is just round the corner, and I'm still trying to get to the festive mood. haha. Going to my favourite cafe for a cup of tea always put a smile on my face.

I wish there will be snow on Christmas day. ^^

Today is my last day of uni. Can't believe this. Met another manager today, and it went really well.

Walked pass Kurt Geiger, there was a sale going on, and I was attracted to it as usual. I bought myself a pair of black suede ankle boots with small thick heel, really like them. Well... I guess this could be my another Xmas present! hehe..

It was a nice day today, went for yummy dimsum with  my friend before she goes back to Italy.
I got this dotty top from River Island last week, really like it, espeacially the lace details on the hem, dots and lace do go nicely together. Very speacial! ^^


Rush and sorted

Today, what a bad start of the day, slept in because my phone was out of battery and so my alarm didn't work, panic for 20mins, and thought my phone was broken cos I couldn't turn it back on, so went on internet to look for the number to call, then try turning it back on and it works. ha.. (I didnt plug in right when I charge my phone last night! Crazy me!) then it was 9, so I rushed to go get ready, and I was 30mins late for my interview. But I got away with it.
Well, I have one of the big thing sorted on my list today. Met the manager finally, she is really nice! Email is sent and waiting for the approval now. Hope its fine.
I was in my heels all day, and walking in heels does double the time it needs. Normally I power walk, and I had to walk slow slow today.. good exercise though in heels!

My outfit looks a little Chanel today. I think it is the cardigan that adds the little touch.
I got this cardigan from my mom when she was on a trip to Japan a while ago. I really like it because the texture of it and the 'chanel-ish' style, it looks so elegant (when its on my mom but not on me!) Oh well.. haha.  And I haven't got my ugly boots on today finally.
I didn't notice the tiredness on my face until these pics were taken. I look terrible. >.<
I have been feeling tired (mentally and physically) for months now, feel like I couldn't relax at all, there are so many things going on in my mind, constantly feeling tense. HELP.

I know them boots are really ugly and I have them on almost everyday to uni now. It does keep me warm so much! Sorry blingbling, cant live without them in winter, I just love them too much! So this is my outfit today, was gonna just wear the leather jacket today, but when I looked out of the window, and the street is frosted (still a bit now), I knew I need more layers to keep me warm, my jacket is quite fitted and I can only put my gilet on top (usually I wear it under my coat). Keeps me cosy all day!
After this week, my good friend F (photographer) will be home for Xmas.. and Im gonna miss her so much.

I think I have learnt not to buy whatever I think its nice in shops.

Recently, when I see something that 'I think I like', I dont just grab it and check out. I try to remember what I have in my wardrobe, what I could wear it with and decide if I would wear it more than once. I was never like this before and am glad that I am more sensible now! ^^

Toffee Nut Latte

I love the burgundy colour, I dont know why it makes me feel so festive.. Maybe lots of fashion retailers have been associating this season with the colour. ^^
Going into Starbucks always makes you feel festive. A cup of Toffee Nut Latte and a muffin are
the best afternoon tea. And hearing 'our legend in town' playing a single chord song on the street just put a smile on you!

My friend Alix gave me a Topshop 'Family and Friends 15%' voucher yesterday,
so I went in and had a look. Bought a necklace and some makeup.
I have always use MAC eyeliner and eyeshadow, I would never thought of buying makeup from a
'high street' brand.  But I was tempted to give it a try 2 months ago, bought brightener, crayon and eyeliner. I was really impressed with the quality and high pigmentation. The eyeliner is very soft and easy to apply. At the till, the girl and I started talking about makeup, I told her I really like the makeup range
and she told me that apparently their makeup is made by the same company who make MAC! and I was like... 'REALLLLLLY'. This just explains everything and am definitely going back for makeup. It is an amazing news to me, I mean, the price range around £4-12 is great, good quality and absolutely affordable.

and of course I will never say 'NO' to a cup cake and a cup of tea to end my day...

Faux fur gilet from H&M



I put on my 'happy purchase' jumper this morning and thought it looked a bit plain so I searched in my wardrobe to see if there's anything I can add on.
I found this green velvet belt hanging there on the accessories rack (never worn since I bought it). My whole outfit turns out more fun with the green belt added to my wasit right away.  
The weather is getting colder and colder, and I'm wearing plenty of layers to wrap myself warm. (I got 4 layers + big wooly scarf on today! lol)

I have always liked purple but never thought of buying clothes that is purple in colour.
I really like the colour of the 'netty' jumper I am wearing today. It's not too bright for this dull/ miserable weather. I think the ashy purple colour can also use to describe winter!
There's a jumper that I wasn't sure if I should get weeks ago because I thought
it was a bit overpriced and today when I went in, the jumper was hanging on the 'seasonal promotion' rail, it
is almost 50% off so I just grabbed it. Very happy with my purchase, oh I also bought a pair of black
patent shoes which got a gold buckle on the front (I already have a pair in suede!). To be honest,
the shoes were good quality-comfy for the price that I pay. Good bargain.
